The Course:-

This course examines the requirements of current legislation for the Control of Substances Hazardous to Health and describes a system for computerising the data necessary for effective control where a significant number of substances are being handled.

Who should attend:-

Those with direct responsibility for COSHH Policy within their organisation and those with line responsibilities for processes where hazardous substances are employed.

Pre-requisites:-

A general knowledge of the nature of the substances which their Company handles which might be covered by the Regulations.

Content:-

The requirements of the current Regulations are examined and the data on the effects of hazardous substances discussed.

The BNFL-developed COSHH-DM Data Manager System is described and demonstrated.
