QUALITY COSTS
The Course:-
This course examines the various factors which collectively can be considered
as costs associated with the achievement of satisfactory quality.
Who should attend:-
All who have responsibility for operating a Quality Management System
or who have line responsibility for Manufacturing or Service functions.
Pre-requisites:-
Participants should have attended one of the advanced courses in the
series or have a detailed knowledge of the requirements of Quality Assurance
Standards and the operation of a Quality Management System.

The course addresses the economics of quality as referenced in BS 6143

Operating Costs - System Maintenance

Development
The course looks at costs associated with establishing and maintaining
a Quality Management System and compares these with the costs likely to
be incurred in the absence of a system. The potential benefits of
an effective system are identified.
