This course focusses on the specific new
requirements of ISO 9001:2000 for which Top Management are now responsible.
The concepts and 8 principles of Quality Management,
covered by ISO 9000:2000, are also addressed, making the course
suitable for those responsible for system creation or update and anyone
wishing to gain a detailed understanding of the requirements of the Quality
Management Standard.

Senior personnel with responsibilities for
the Quality System and Quality practitioners who need detailed understanding
of the requirements of these standards.
Pre-requisites:-
None - the course provides background to
the requirements for Quality Management and the development of Quality
Management Standards.
Content:-
Specific elements of the Standard are analysed
in depth and related to the current process appoach to Quality Management
Systems structure, customer focus and continual improvement.
The obligations of Companies under the Standard are
identified and guidance on identifying permissible exclusions provided.
Attention is drawn to the guidance on means for improvement
provided by ISO 9004:2000.
The structure and format of control documents is
discussed and guidelines for the allocation of responsibilities presented.
