The introduction of ISO 9001:2000 and the associated standards ISO 9000 and ISO 9004 in December 2000 meant that auditors, both Registered Auditors/Lead Auditors and Internal Auditors had to demonstrate knowledge of the new requirements and of auditing techniques appropriate to the new process-based approach and IRCA recommended attendance at a course satisfying their Published Criteria.Who should attend:-This 2-day course, which examines all three standards in depth, met these criteria and was REGISTERED BY IRCA - Ref.No.A 17003.
The course is targetted at Registered Auditors/Lead Auditors but Internal Auditors and personnel with responsibility for creating and implementing a system and seeking understanding of the new requirements will also find the course of great value, as will those with overall responsibility for quality within existing systems who are required to demonstrate continual improvement in line with the new requirements.Content:-The course provides an excellent opportunity to gain an in-depth appreciation of the requirements of the Standard and an understanding of the eight Quality Management Principles around which the underlying philosophy is structured.
What is meant by the Process Approach, the justification for System Exclusions and ways by which Continual Improvement can be achieved are examined as cornerstones of an effective system aimed at ensuring Customer Satisfaction.
