Detailed guidance is given on the changes necessary to adapt existing systems to comply with the new requirements, and the timescale for this, making the course invaluable for those responsible for system creation or update and anyone wishing to gain a detailed understanding of the new requirements of this Quality Management Standard.
Who should attend:- Senior personnel with responsibilities for Quality Policy and the Management System and Quality practitioners who need detailed understanding of the requirements of these standards.
Pre-requisites:- None - the course provides detailed background to the requirements for Quality Management and guidance on the development of typical Quality Management Systems.
Content:- Specific elements of the Standard are analysed in depth and related to the current process approach to Quality Management Systems structure, customer focus and continual improvement.
The obligations of Companies under the Standard are identified and guidance on the situation relating to permissible exclusions provided.
The relationship with BS EN ISO 9000 & BS EN ISO 9004 is also explained and their status discussed.
The structure and format of control documents is discussed and guidelines for the allocation of responsibilities presented.
Information on the Approach adopted by Independent 3rd Party Certification Bodies and preparation for assessment is also included.
